ParkLane Homes celebrates 25th anniversary
Date: Mar 30, 2005
ParkLane Homes, one of Western Canada's largest and most respected residential developers, will celebrate its 25th anniversary this weekend.
ParkLane Homes' popularity was evident last week, as lines formed around the sales centre for Forest Edge, a development in Port Moody's Heritage Woods neighbourhood.
While such lineups have become common at sought-after condo projects in downtown Vancouver, some real estate analysts said this was the first time they had seen similar interest in a single-family home development in another area of the Lower Mainland.<
The intense interest garnered stories in the Province and the Vancouver Sun, and so many people camped out for a chance to buy one of the homes -- priced at approximately $500,000 each -- that ParkLane staff ordered pizza for those lined up.
This weekend's anniversary festivities will begin with three new project grand openings in ParkLane's award-winning Heritage Woods community.
Since 1980, ParkLane has developed a distinct reputation for building exceptional residential homes and creating award-winning communities throughout the Lower Mainland.
With more than 5,000 homes, 85 community developments and 200 national and provincial awards to its name, ParkLane is poised for another 25 years of superior residential homebuilding.
"Thanks to our fantastic team of developers, designers, construction staff and sales associates, we've made a name for ourselves by delivering excellence in every detail, at every step of the homebuilding process," said Gary Marshall, general manager of sales and marketing.
"We are delighted to share this celebration with our customers, suppliers and partners in the building industry who have made integral contributions to our success."
Home to more than 15 ParkLane developments, the Heritage Woods community is poised to grow again, as ParkLane opens three new projects on April 2 and 3. Creekside, Forest Edge and Quest will offer a selection of single-family detached homes and townhouses in Port Moody.
"Our new home in ParkLane's Quest project will be ready this spring, and we look forward to moving in and taking advantage of the great lifestyle offered by the Heritage Woods community," said Tamara Almas, a ParkLane homeowner.
A 25th anniversary and grand opening celebration, complete with home tours, live music, refreshments, special sales promotions on homes in Heritage Woods and vacation and gift giveaways, will begin Saturday
ParkLane homeowners, staff, suppliers, prospective customers and members of the community are invited to attend.
On Saturday, grand opening celebrations for Quest, Creekside and Forest Edge will take place from noon to 6 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m.
