ParkLane Supports the Salvation Army's Circle of Caring Capital Campaign
Vancouver, BC, October 20, 2006 - ParkLane Homes is proud to announce its pledge of $20,000 to The Salvation Army's Circle of Caring Capital Campaign. Through the support of many donors, including ParkLane Homes, The Salvation Army was able to build facility called Belkin House at 555 Homer Street.
The Belkin House provides short and long term housing for men, women and families. Long term residents are required to register for the Personal Development Program. This program is a series of progressive study and work sessions on life skills, counseling and employment training. In addiction, the program offers recovery programs in coordination with other social service agencies.
"The Salvation Army would like to express sincere thanks to the management and employees of ParkLane Homes for helping people regain their dignity and ability to become productive members of society," says Kathy Mannas, Major Gifts Officer, The Salvation Army.
One of ParkLane's goals is to provide support and give back to the communities where they build. Over the past 25 years, ParkLane has grown to be one of western Canada's largest and most recognized residential developers building more than 5,500 homes in over 90 award winning communities across the Lower Mainland.
