Vancouver, B.C. - (Feb 5, 2007) - The Georgie Awards honoured ParkLane Homes with its inaugural Platinum Award on February 2nd.  This new award was created to recognize Canadian Home Builder's Association of BC (CHBA BC) member companies that has received 25 or more Georgie Awards.

"ParkLane Homes is a valued member of the Canadian Home Builders' Association of BC.  For many years, they have built award-winning communities throughout the Lower Mainland, helping to build a better British Columbia," says MJ Whitemarsh, CEO of CHBA BC.  "ParkLane Homes is well deserving of the inaugural Georgie Awards Platinum Award. "

The Georgie Awards was established by the CHBA BC in 1992 to celebrate excellence in home building.  Every year, over 650 industry leaders come together at the Georgie Awards shoe to pay tribute to the province's leading developers and their exceptional accomplishments in design, construction, customer service, sales and marketing.  Judges for the awards come from outside British Columbia and are selected based on their expertise in their particular field.
