ParkLane Homes Wins Tri-Cities Chamber's Outstanding Business of the Year Award
Vancouver, B.C. – (January 31, 2007) – The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce honoured ParkLane Homes with its Outstanding Business of the Year award on January 26, at the President's Gala at the Red Robinson Show Theatre. The award is given to a Tri-Cities business that employs 35 people or more and has made an outstanding contribution in economic development, innovation and community service. ParkLane Homes was recognized for its commitment to building homes in the Tri-Cities area. In 2006 alone, the company added 180 residences to the area.
Additonally, ParkLane Homes was recognized for supporting green building practices, hiring locally, demonstrating leadership within the community and displaying a positive social conscience. The company has also made extensive contributions to local charities including the public library, arts centre, ecological society, fitness centre, community police and the Eagle Ridge Hospital.
