Overview

East Fraserlands is situated on a 129 acre waterfront parcel of land in the South East corner of Vancouver, between Boundary and Kerr, on the Fraser River. The masterplan is based on the principles of new urbanism and features a well-planned mix of townhomes, low and mid rise apartments and high rise towers. There are also plenty of great shops and services, large anchor retail stores and a community plaza, all situated in the heart of the community just a few minutes walk for residents. With these exceptional new community amenities along with significant green space, a new community centre, school and sports fields, EFL will be a landmark community and one of the premiere places to live in the Lower Mainland.

Housing:
East Fraserlands will combine the graciousness of ground-oriented, traditional communities with high rise buildings designed with the 'Green Building' strategies in mind and targeting the LEED Silver. Rich architectural themes will celebrate the land's history and add a sense of place and continuity to the community.

Commercial:
At the heart of the East Fraserlands community is a retail/commercial Town Centre, High Street and Waterfront Plaza. The Town Centre will include businesses which surrounding residents can use daily such as banks, bakeries, card stores, coffee shops, florists, hardware stores, hair salons, ice cream parlors, mail centres, pharmacies, a supermarket, restaurants, and video rental stores. The centre may also include small specialty businesses such as bicycle shops, clothing stores, shoe stores, home furnishings and sporting goods. The High Street connects the Town Centre to the riverfront plaza and will accommodate leading specialty businesses such as apparel stores, electronic stores, gift shops, home furnishings, restaurants, toy stores and shoe stores. The Waterfront Plaza will capitalize upon the unique riverfront setting and accommodate several restaurants and numerous small specialty shops.

Public Realm:
The East Fraserlands community will offer a rich public realm which highlights a range of recreational, ecological and civic opportunities. Through the use of public art, outdoor cafes, public recreation areas, play fields, parks, plazas and promenades, this community will have one of the most animated and well-used public realms of any neighborhood in the city.
